Villa Guarienti Punta S. Vigilio

Villa Guarienti in Punta San Vigilio. It is considered by many art historians a work by the famous Verona architect Michele Sanmicheli. The villa was designed and built so that the main facade is the one facing the lake, visible by boats passing by or docking at the small private harbour of Punta San Vigilio.
Owned by the noble family Guarienti, the villa in the past hosted many famous guests among whom Winston Churchill.
Today no one lives in the villa and is used as a location for various events.
Villa Guarienti can be visited from the outside during a guided tour of lake Garda and Punta San Vigilio together with the historical lemon green house and the private harbour. For further information please contact tourist guides of lake Garda.
