Maffei palace. With its rich decoration, is one of the fewest example of pure baroque architecture in Verona. As if recalling the presence of the Capitolium (Roman Temple) that was built here in Roman age, on top Maffei palace were placed statues of Roman gods. In the cellar of the Maffei restaurant on the ground floor, is possible to visit the remains of the Roman temple.
