St. Zeno bronze portal. The monumental door of the church of St Zeno is decked in 48 bronze panel. It is an amazing work of art, created around the year 1000 by more than one author. Themes are taken from the Old and New Testament and from the life of St Zeno. Beside the apparent coarseness, the panels have an extreme expressive power and a modern communicative language.
