On board of a private boat it will be possible to circumnavigate the Sirmione peninsula admiring from the lake the Scaligero Castle, the perfectly preserved lake fortress with its fortified dock built by the Scala seigniory in the second half of 1300. We will then proceed with the view of Villa Callas, the summer residence of the famous opera singer, and the thermal baths, and then we will reach the Grotte di Catullo, the largest archaeological area in northern Italy, the remains of the imposing Roman villa that tradition indicates as the first residence of the Latin poet Catullus.
